Membership is open to Brothers, Wives, Family Members and Widows. Widows find it especially helpful as it gives them a connection with their late husband’s Circle.

Obligation of membership: to pray One Decade of the Holy Rosary every day. (One Our Father, Ten Hail Mary’s and One Glory Be). No penalty if it is missed. The petition to be for ‘Our Lady’s Intentions’ except in May when it will be for ‘The Catenian Association and Those Taking Office’. Also on every Friday in the year the petition will be for all in the Association: brothers, wives, family members and widows who are in need of Our Lady’s comfort and healing help

As mentioned in the August 2005 Catena if you have children who are not following their faith you may like to add the following prayer to the decade. This was requested by Our Lady herself.

‘Dearest Mother, with these golden chains I bind my children to your Immaculate Heart.’
